Who We Are
New Beginnings Through Education is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit organization providing workforce development, practical education, and hands-on job training opportunities for individuals throughout El Dorado County and surrounding communities.
Our programs are designed for individuals seeking entry-level work experience, including those facing barriers to employment such as gaps in work history, limited job experience, economic hardship, or previous involvement with the justice system who are ready to build practical skills and take the next step toward employment.

Workforce Development and Job Training
Many individuals face barriers to employment due to limited work history, economic hardship, justice involvement, or lack of access to vocational training.
New Beginnings Through Education helps bridge that gap by providing practical learning experiences that build confidence, responsibility, and marketable skills. Participants gain practical experience through daily operations and project-based learning opportunities that mirror real workplace environments.

“The training at New Beginnings gave me the skills and confidence to secure my first warehouse job.”
After completing the program, Daniel Tober gained additional work experience in a warehouse setting and has since advanced into a role as an administrative/program coordinator with Habitat for Humanity, marking a significant step toward financial independence and long-term stability for himself and his family.

Awarded an $8,000 Acorn grant to support workforce development and educational programming for our participants.
